 "Hello all... A little introduction of who I am... My name is Krista and I'm a mother, a student, a teacher, and an energy worker. I have studied and continue to study modalities that help heal through energy and Qi manipulation. I'm a Reiki Master and I am a student of Qigong. I also practice Reflexology and meditation. I've studied meditation under several instructors and I have found it to be a very important part of my energy work. In my spare time, I enjoy the outdoors and road trips with my daughter. I'm thrilled to be joining Heather here at Metta Wellness and I look forward to sharing what I've learned with everyone to help encourage growth and healing throughout the community.



 Brenna Miller discovered her passion for body movement therapy starting with salsa dance lessons & yoga in 2006. She went onto experience and study many different modalities of movement cultivating her practice with each new journey. Through her trainings from many brilliant teachers she has earned her 500 hour Yoga certification in Hatha & Rasamaya Yoga (Chakra & Emotion based Yoga), 50 hour Meridian Yoga certification, 64 hour Anatomy in Clay certification, Pilates Beginner through Advanced Mat certifications, Pilates Beginner Apparatus certification, Pfilates (Pelvic Floor Pilates) certification, and Thai Yoga Bodywork certification. She has taken minor trainings on Nutrition, MS and Breast Cancer and also works with cancer survivors through the LIVESTRONG program at the YMCA. Throughout her career as a Body Movement Instructor in many different and fun modalities she has also found a love working with seniors at local assisted living facilities. She is also trained and certified as a group exercise instructor specializing in Balance and Strength Training for any age group. Brenna embraces the knowledge that she has gained and enjoys sharing with others. She believes through a healthy practice that one is able to exchange stress, trauma and fear for vitality, peace and joy

I have spent the last 13 years working as a massage therapist and Ayurvedic Body-worker. I have continued over time with my training in different types of massage and energy work to combine them into a style of my own. Weaving together Thai yoga stretching, a gentle flow of meditative movement with deeper compressions along with energy work through intuition. My work is slow and intentional, I will slow down the pace of my work and go into an area (back, thigh,hip etc) with concentration. This style of work allows me to be flexible with my clients as I strive to find the tools that will  suit their goals and leave you feeling balanced in your body, mind and spirit.

  In the last few years I finished my Advanced Herbal Apprenticeship and this has allowed me to bring in a deeper art of healing . In the last year I have started to do herbal consults and blending teas, oils, and salves for my clients.I also blend my oils for massage and Ayurveda using a time tested process of harvesting organic plants and working with traditional methods to extract the volatile healing properties of the herbs used. This allows me to create an oil base, then add herbs or essential oils on an individual bases.

  I am always continuing to learn and explore with different modalities, while always falling back on the fundamentals of Ayurveda, Reiki, and Swedish massage for a full body healing of mind, body, spirit connection.

Metta Wellness has grown in the last year, from 1 massage therapist in Shrewsbury, to a second location in Paxton, offering a variety of wellness sessions. Metta Wellness is a healing space specializing in Ayurveda, Reiki, Thai yoga, herbals and wellness classes. If you don’t know which massage you need, we’ll take the time to work with and determine what level of pressure, temperature, and motion is best suited for your body’s and mind.
